George Saitoti was a mathematician who became Kenya's longest-serving Vice President and a long-time Finance Minister. Saitoti died in a police helicopter crash in 2012 while Internal Security Minister. Born on 3 August 1945. Died on 10 June 2012 in Ngong Forest, Kajiado County (helicopter crash), aged 66.
